Reporting / Automation
Reports with a point of view.
A local tool turns a Google Ads export into a report that can be checked, explained, and sent with confidence.
An export is data, but a client report needs context, validation, and a clear next step.
Workflow and report tool development
A local Google Ads CSV to PDF reporting tool
This is a description of the local reporting tool and an explanatory workflow. It does not claim a client performance result or show a client's private report.
Raw data doesn't tell the whole story.
A Google Ads export is useful for analysis, but a client report needs a coherent period, legible numbers, and a point of view on what happens next. Reformatting each export by hand takes attention away from the decisions behind it.
- 01Export
Start with a Google Ads campaign CSV.
- 02Validate
Check inputs and flag mismatched date ranges.
- 03Review
Render a PDF, inspect the numbers and notes, then send manually.
This diagram explains the method. It is not a live account screenshot.
Automate the assembly. Keep the review.
I built a local tool that takes a Google Ads campaign CSV and renders a branded PDF. It can include an ad group breakdown when the account calls for one. If the campaign and ad group exports cover different date ranges, the tool warns before the report is used.
The recommendations come from human-written notes. When those notes are missing, the report marks the gap rather than inventing advice. The PDF is reviewed and sent manually. The tool does not email clients or make campaign changes.
Illustrative layout only. No client data or results are shown.
A repeatable report, with a deliberate final check.
The tool handles the formatting and flags a common data mismatch. A person still checks the numbers, supplies the recommendation, and decides when the report is ready to send. That division keeps the workflow useful without treating an export as the whole answer.
